that's truly where my life takes place. school, people, happy things, depressing things blah blah.

but overall the feeling i get is still...emptiness.
am i ungrateful? mum always says it's because i don't appreciate i have.
but i think i still do. i understand how lucky i am to be able to live in such a safe, well-off country.

OKAY TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY. I'LL BLOG POST ABOUT IT SUNDAY REALLY LATE NIGHT OR MONDAY. TOMORROW IS A BUSY DAY. FAMILY FROM TAINAN COMING OVER, NEED TO CLEAN ROOM AND ARRANGE THIS AND THAT.

WAS JUST ON SKYPE WITH TIFFANY CHANG AT AROUND 12.30AM. APPARENTLY HER MUM DECIDED THAT I HAVE TO TAKE GUESTS TO THEIR SEATS ALONG WITH JACKY, BENNY, BILLY AND OTHER KIDS. THEREFORE I HAVE TO ARRIVE EARLY. I BARELY EVEN KNOW THEIR FAMILY BUT I'M HONOURED, AND I'M REALLY EXCITED. WHY AM I EXCITED. IT'S NOT LIKE I'M THE ONE GETTING MARRIED. BUT ERMAGERD LOL WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME.

My deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the shooting in Connecticut....All the young, innocent lives taken in such a heartbreaking tragedy. There are no words. It's so sad how people have it in their being to do such terrible things.

Also, 22 primary school children and 1 old lady were injured by a man in a stabbing spree in China. I watched the news and it was reported that a dad tortured and hurt her 6 year old daughter to death, then he payed a friend to bury her body in some far away forest and nobody discovered it until months later. I've heard so many terrible things today and it really breaks my heart. We really do live in a sick world.

on Saturday our fambam made a rushed decision: we decided to go to on a 2 day family trip :D all day of Saturday we were looking for "motel thingos" to stay at. what i mean by motels thingos, is basically a house/apartment of any style, the owner designs the whole place & travellers can stay there for a day or 2. it's different from motel in that people here usually provide coffee, dinner/breakfast. you also feel more at home in these places. BUT, lets just call them motels for now, because i dont know what else i'd call them ._.

our family loves hanging out at these places. we have very high standards xD we like clean, UNIQUE motels with a lot of decorations. a lot of them just look pretty but aren't special at all. we all like the feeling of driving up high into the mountains, feeling the breeze, and drinking coffee in these motels while the calming background music plays. ugh perfect.

anyway so mum and i stayed up till 2am in the morning of SUNDAY, because it wasn't until then that we found a motel online that we liked. woke up at 8.30am, called at 9 to ask if they had rooms, booked a room, and by 10am all 4 of us had finished packing and were ready to go :D

firstly though, we had to take our puppy to my mums' friends place D: noooooooooooooooooooo

crazy dawg.

we went from KAOHSIUNG, to MIAOLI. from 10.30am to 3.40pm. Taiwan is so small :(

basically we got there, and i took a ridiculous amount of photos. mum, as always, had coffee and dad wayne and i went off for a walk instead. it's a really nice place. the rest of this post will just be photos because there's not much to say.

sorry about the hiatus. i've been lazy. AGAIN. im sitting here on the floor while watching my brother exercise on the bike... he has issues even while doing something this simple. sigh. idek what to do.

anyway so i'll blog about 12/12/12, which was my mum's birthday 8D in the arvo we walked the dog

seriously. this one. we literally had to drag him out.

and then when we were officially outside the apartment he went back to his crazy, hyperactive self.

went to this restaurant that i've been asking to go back to for 3 years. FINALLLY T_T so worth the wait!

i didnt take pictures of all the food, cause we had dinner with my dads friends and it'd be awkward LOL

afterwards we went to the CD Store to get my FLOWER POWER ALBUM. literally jumped out of the car and skipped my way into the store. just OMG, FINALLY LASKJFDALSKJDFLAKSJDFLAKJSFA. I LOVE THIS CD. ERMAHGERDDDD.

i arranged with my dad so that we would go to the stationary store so i could quickly get a card and present for my mum. i MADE part the present. so proud :D mum cried. our relationship this year has improved so much compared to the last 2. hope things won't go too bad next year. she is absolutely dreading about her turning 50 in a few years. so i keep shoving it at her, YOU'RE 50 YOU'RE 50 HAHAHA. then she rages.

what i bought instead........ count on me to spend money on the things that i don't really need.

i swear i picked out the cheapest ones! i just didn't think i could go attend someones wedding without looking like i at least tried to make myself slightly more presentable.

the only thing that wasn't ridiculously cheap was that blue bottle. it's the whitening formula by some japanese company that is ridiculously good. i love their stuff. freaking flawless. so excited to start using it ;D

went out with tiffany at night :D went to shin jue jiang (remember that, i'll be going there often because its like the only non department store place you can go to in kaohsiung orz). talked to tiff at 3pm ish, i asked when she could hang out and she said today since billy was going out and i was like WOW okay LOL why does it always depend on billy billy billy... billy this billy that. ugh. studied chem and then got there at 8.

benny (jacky's older brother), caleb, and tiff came to pick me up at maccas. walked around for so long and then we spent more than an hour at an earring shop because there were so many options LOL only benny and i bought stuff. tiff spent TOO MUCH at department stores so she was given no money for this outing. caleb looked so ridiculously bored but he was like, all goods, this store has good music, i'm fine. LOL. i feel so sorry for guys who have to wait for other people to finish shopping. THE SHOP WAS SO SHINY OMIGAHH. i love shiny things~~

walked around some more, didn't buy any clothes FML. went to a T-shirt shop for couple stuff with tiff, yeaaayyyy couple shirts for tiff and i :D haha jokes for our lovely couple solfany. didn't find anything and it was already 10pm. BILLY SAID IT WAS TIME TO GO BECAUSE HE WANTED TO GYM. LOL. met up with him and en lo. billy bought food and gosh you shouldve seen the way he ate them. he was like chewing with his mouth open. at one point he accidentally spat out the chicken he was eating and everyone was like nooooooooo stahppp T_T

when it was time to go home, billy requested to take photos. what the hell LOL it took us 10 minutes to take some decent photos of the guys. apparently tiffany sucks at taking photos, and billy can't stand people's hands around his waist HAHA it was so funny

i can really see why delinna is so close to caleb. he's very easygoing and just...easygoing. anyway i'm just glad that now i not only know jacky, who according to benny didn't come out today because he was so scared of shopping with me and tiff (HAHA) i also know benny now so yay not a loner at the table.

sent them off and somehow it was 11pm o.o called my dad to pick me up. and during the 15 min wait i went to a shoe shop and bought flats to replace the rotten pair i've been wearing all year. i also bought boots.

the shoes are not that cute but they are of great quality. and i bought both within 15 mins wow how.

super high quality earrings. but god they look so much better irl.

overall, not my proudest purchases but OH WELL.

once again i'm too lazy to post ._. went out on a little fam trip for sunday and monday. pictures will come when i can be bothered to upload them.

does anyone know any good songs? i'm getting so sick of the songs i'm listening to now. can SNSD's album just come out on the 1st of January so my life can get a little better?

i'm invited to tiff's sister's wedding yayyy. super excited to watch her perform. she says i'll be sitting with jacky/benny and what not (even though i dont know anyone else but jacky) :D finally someone i can talk to in real life LOL. so bored in my little house. after tiff's sisters wedding jacky, tiff and i will be able to hang out again yusssssssss. i told him this time we wont be as nice to him as we were last year: he will definitely be carrying bags.

and i'll definitely see the guy who looks like aaron yan again ermergerddddddd.

finally forcing myself to sit down and do some chemsitry. thank god for mr. giraffe, he lent zumdahl to me for the holidays. AND WHERE THE HELL IS MY OWN RED CHEMISTRY BOOK. UGHH.

really had to control my intake. look at the food below holy shiz. with that, i'm in heaven.

YUP. THAT'S REALLY NOT MUCH FOR A GIRL. SO PROUD.

3 facial products + 2 face masks + 3 hair care thingos already. i really buy too much of this stuff though.
the white bottle and the spray are of the brand TSUBAKI. dad and i were shopping at 10pm (I LOVE ASIA) and when i saw tsubaki i nearly cried because i've heard good stuff about it AND IT'S AN ASIAN PRODUCT YOU CAN'T REALLY FIND IT IN AUSTRALIA)

however, tsubaki is alright. i don't see much change in my hair. it's been a while since ive found a hair brand that does great things to my hair. it just looks the same all the time. straight, shiny for some reason. occasionally it'll be frizzy due to the whether. the last AMAZING hair product i've used is TONY&GUY. camille recommended it first and gosh it is PERFECT.

the beautiful pink little bottle is from MODS HAIR. it's from the line that ACTUALLY DOES GOOD FOR YOUR HAIR WHEN YOU HEAT STYLE IT. after using products from this line, if you heat style your hair (with hair dryer or straightener/curler/wand), the heat actually triggers some chemical that went into your hair through the products to release so that your hair is even more well protected and even assists with style and shine. i haven't used it yet but when i saw this on a taiwanese blog when i was in australia i nearly died of joy. exactly what i'm looking for. i will definitely buy more products from this line to try out the whole set :D

something interesting to end the post.

this is the class from primary school (grade 3-6) that i spent 4 years with. we were called a string class. as you can see, everyone plays a string instrument, and throughout the 4 years we practiced together as an orchestra. at the end of grade 6, we had a graduation performance at some official venue.

the time i spent with these people have been the best times of my life (so far), definitely.
